 About Kirsteen:


I grew up visiting Scottish galleries with my artist dad and socialising with his circle from Glasgow School of Art (including famous Scottish artist Alastair Grey) this gave me a passion for Scottish art.


As an adult I did a design degree at a Scottish University and spent and my adult life running workshops, tutoring, teaching, painting, drawing and helping others create art.


I have traveled widely and often off the beaten track, connecting with people in the places I visit rather than just collecting landmarks and waiting in crowds. I want to bring that same local touch for people who visit my native Scotland.

Tour a gallery to be inspired then create beautiful art to treasure in a fun workshop. All levels welcome. Locals and visitors. All materials provided (except cameras). Photography Tour Walk around the best photo spots with helpful advice on better photos. Phone camera is fine. (Half day. Quite a lot of walking and best in OK weather.) Mixed Media Art Learn from the masters in the National Gallery of Scotland then lunch break. Get expert help creating your own art in the Museum of Scotland. (One day. Mostly indoors, suitable for terrible weather.) Urban sketching Gallery tour in National Gallery of Scotland then lunch break then urban sketching in the National Portrait Gallery or up on Carlton Hill if the weather is good. (One day. Can be done mostly indoors. Good for poor weather.)
